Spring Into Action

It has been a while since I corresponded on my blog. I have been very busy but in a good way. Now that we are into Spring, IAB is doing very well and we anticipate "Springing into Action" for the continued success of our loyal members and associates as well as the fantastic employees at the home office.

Over the years, I have been asked a number of times what I feel is the key to success. Of course there is no one element that results in success. However, those that I know that are successful had an "anti quit" attitude. They just would not give up! What I do see is many that I feel could have been successful with IAB, but haven't because they gave up in the face of challenges. Those who are very successful with IAB are those that have stuck with it, having a quality that I describe as "stick-to-it-tiveness." Yes, this is one of the most important qualities needed for real success.

Do not give up under stress or challenges. Staying with something successful and good, like IAB, can result in you reaching and exceeding all your goals. So this short message on this blog is for the purpose of encouraging you to stick to it, never give up, and be determined. Yes this will go along way in your journey of success. Now is the time to "Spring into Action" as you never, never, never give up.

I will be sharing other messages like this with you in the future, hoping that in some small way, it will assist you to be successful.

DREAMS DO COME TRUE

About 70 very fortunate persons enjoyed a "Dream Come True" vacation the week of Feb 7th through February 13th. IAB hosted these 70 at the Beautiful Ritz Carlton in Maui, Hawaii. The next several postings below and the pictures above are my personal pictures that I tried to take while in Hawaii. The official pictures by a professional photographer will be posted on the web site as well as in IAB's email news letters. Perhaps you will get just a taste of what all who celebrated success enjoyed.

The pictures above are myself, Tressa and my beautiful granddaughter, Sofia who is Jacob and Ann's daughter. Second is Paula Rainey, President of IAB at the Luau. Third is Laura Gorman, VP of IAB along with the owner of one of our leading marketing organizations, Tim Thomas. Then there is Shane Madigan, VP of Communication and Education and Lois Nix, Chief Financial Officer.

All of the above experienced this "Dream Come True" vacation with all of our very precious Associates who qualified along with a number of those that represented Corporate.

IAB always goes first class, because their programs, products and mode of operation is also First Class.

OUR AUTHENTIC HAWAIIAN LUAU

On the second day after everyone arrived, we had our Awards Meeting and Breakfast in the morning and that evening we all enjoyed an authentic Hawaiian Luau together in the old whaling town of LaHaina. Above are a few pictures of the entertainment after we partook of traditional Hawaiian Kalua Pig for dinner. It was quite a treat.

Please continue to my previous postings for more of IAB's Hawaiian celebration

A TOP SALES PERSON'S JOB NEVER ENDS

ALICE CRAVEN, our top personal producer for 2008 and an IAB Elite Member, continues to enroll members in IAB even as we are enjoying our Whale Watch Yacht Cruise. Via her cell phone while on the Yacht, she enrolls two more members. This is why she consistently enrolls 10 to 20 new members each and every week and her income is unbelievable. Keep up the good work, Alice, and we love you and enjoyed having you with us in Hawaii. Many more rewards are in the future for you and others that follow your example
Please see my previous postings for more pics of our Hawaii Venture

A WHALE OF A TIME

The pictures below in the previous posting reflect the private Luau that all of us that were in Hawaii enjoyed at our farewell dinner last Wednesday evening Feb 11th. The fire dancer, and the hula dancers were marvelous, some very young. Laura Gorman and Glenn Kastner were thoroughly enjoying it. Also the view from most of our rooms was very beautiful and peaceful.

Above, we see some of the Whales that we observed on our Whale watch on Tuesday. It was amazing to see so many Whales and their tactics as we cruised together and enjoyed the food on the yacht. I felt good getting some of the photos that I did, but more will be posted on the web site.

IAB IN HAWAII

Yesterday, Friday Feb 13th, all of the wonderful IAB Associates and IAB corporate returned to their homes after an unbelievable week in Hawaii for a "dream come true" vacation. It was just fantastic and as many of the 70 that were here were saying " Words just cannot accurately describe all the things we did and enjoyed. It was the trip of a lifetime. You would have had to experience it yourself to understand just how great it was."

Yes, we are without adequate words to describe our Hawaii venture. Just talk to any who were there and you may get just a glimpse of what we all enjoyed.
Above are a few of my personal pictures of some of the events. Enjoy them, but the official pictures will be posted on the web site as well as in our weekly news letters. I thank all of you who were there for the true spirit of cooperation, appreciation and companionship. We all look forward to the next one.

ALOHA, FROM HAWAII

Aloha! This is the week that we have the pleasure of being with our Elite Associates and others at the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Maui, Hawaii. Tressa and I and a few others from corporate are already here, ready to welcome our special guests on Saturday as they arrive. All total, we have about 65 people that will be here to enjoy the festivities.
Saturday, we will have a welcoming reception after all arrive. Sunday morning is our "Go For the Gold" Awards Meeting and Breakfast. That evening, we all are going to enjoy a Luau together. Monday is a free day to experience the Island and Tuesday, we all are going on a Whale Watch Boating Tour. This is the season that the Whales are in the waters surrounding the islands, so we are all anxious to see these beautiful huge animals. Wednesday evening will be our final dinner together and Thursday and Friday are free days and many will begin their journey back home that evening.
To say the least, we are very excited about this trip and being here with all of the WINNERS.
Speaking about WINNERS, I noticed that last year, 2008, IAB paid out commissions to our associates well over $10,000,000 dollars! January 2009 was a VERY, VERY good month as it was the best January in a number of years. We are already on a pace of paying out at least 50% more commissions this year than the last. I am very confident that we will more than double last years figures as the momentum is good and getting better by the day. This is truly amazing with the state of the economy as it is. Keep up the good work, all of our precious associates. It is great seeing many of you making the kind of money that you are making and providing such valuable benefits to so many in need.
So long for now, or should I say, Aloha until next time. Tressa and I look forward to communicating with all of our very important members, associates, and all interested parties.

WELCOME 2009

2009 promises to be another fantastic year for all of IAB's Members and Associates, and I look forward to the accomplishments that we anticipate for the new year.
We ended on a very positive note. With several of our call center marketing companies practically closed during the two holiday weeks we are ecstatic to have received over 1000 new membership applications during the holiday period. Wow! What a way to end an already good year and to begin what appears to be our best year ever. Congratulations to all of our Associates for such a good year and fantastic ending. We are very grateful for all of your efforts and committed work.
Also, DO NOT MISS the conference call Monday night, January 5th! As an Associate, you will learn of another new enhancement to the IAB program including a new low cost benefit plan and commission arrangement that will motivate you beyond imagination! If you are reading this blog after Monday, be sure to check all the IAB communication vehicles to learn about this tremendous new arrangement. This will add to our already strong foundation to propel us into new heights of success during 2009 for all of our Associates and Members.
Tressa and I just returned from a visit to NYC for the holidays. We visited with Jeff Malone and his wife. As most of you know, Jeff was the President of IAB for almost 20 years. Last year Jeff and Karen moved to NYC to do a volunteer work related to their ministry. We enjoyed spending several days with them in the Big Apple. Jeff is still on the Board of Directors of IAB and is involved in a number of initiatives of IAB. The third picture above is Jeff and Karen in their apartment in Brooklyn and the last picture is a view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Wall Street area as seen from their apartment.
Also, Tressa and I had the opportunity to walk over and back across the Brooklyn Bridge. The weather was cool but the experience was stimulating and very enjoyable. The first two pictures above were taken from the Bridge as we were walking over it. While in the City, we also did the normal NYC activities such as attend a Broadway production - Billy Elliot, go to the David Letterman show, tour 5h Ave, Madison Ave, Soho, Greenwich Village and a few other areas and watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve. It was a very enjoyable visit, but as usual, we were glad to return to our home in Dallas, and get back to work.
So, WELCOME 2009! Our IAB journey continues and we look forward to working with all of you during the new year. May it be a very good one for all of you, as we continue to excel in a very dangerous and perilous time.

Looking Forward to 2009

Well, it has been a while since I updated this blog. I hope that everyone that reads this blog is having a great time as we wind down 2008.
Tressa and I will be going to NYC for the holiday period. We understand it is very cold and wintry there now, so it should be an interesting trip. We plan on enjoying the city during all of its festivities and we have tickets to be at the David Letterman Show Tuesday Dec 23. If you watch, you may see us in the audience.
We will eat at some of the restaurants that we enjoy, see a Broadway Plan and do a little shopping and rest up for the next year. Also, we have arrangements to visit with Jeff and Karen Malone, our long time friends and former President of IAB and still on the Board of IAB. They live in NYC at this time.
Next year is going to be fantastic. IAB had a very good year in 2008 and the momentum is growing or 2009.
Be sure to be on the Jan 5 conference call as we will be releasing a new program that we anticipate will be explosive. Our associates and members have asked for it so we are delivering. With our new fantastic web sites, our existing and new programs, 2009 may be the best year ever for IAB, its members and associates. We sincerely hope that you are a part of it.
This is especially exciting with the state of the economy and the health care crisis that we face in this nation and worldwide. IAB has positioned itself to be a tremendous asset to all during these critical times. Please join us and do not miss the call in January. Details have been sent to our associates and will continue to be promoted through email blasts, etc. Also, you may call IAB for details. Again, I say, to get the year off with a bang, do not miss this call and opportunity.
Until next time, Tressa and I offer our good wishes to all of you for a very healthy and prosperous new year.
